Let's workshop this poem about the Milgram experiments, which purportedly show that regular people are likely to follow the orders of an authority (even to the extent of inflicting pain and suffering)

Received Reality

Looking back
at Milgram’s experiments,
we wonder about
selective reporting—unless

it turns out most
actually are the psychos
or the brownnosing
goody-goodies expected

to crank the volt dial
(despite all shrieks)
as ordered by figures
in lab coats of authority.
