LaRusso

Having marched his gamer son
over for a fair fight 
with the bully who jumped him,

to his dejected disbelief 
his son—instead of squaring up
with fists like the other boy—

had his arms high with wrists down,
one knee raised in earnest 
for a Miyagi crane kick.
