Let's workshop this poem concerning the prescience of one of my top literary heroes

Ellison

Eerily foretelling its real effort 
to tank the system by getting 
as many blacks as possible

on welfare (effort that made 
welfare a black norm), 
the Marxist party in Invisible Man

(using blacks as tools) spurs 
Harlem riots to show how tired
of exploitation people are.
