Derma White
Let's workshop this poem about space aliens mistaking for intense self-disgust our preoccupation with altering our appearances
Derma White
If extraterrestrials
were to conclude
that we are disgusted
by our own reflections
(given our blue contacts
and straighteners,
our hair-skin bleaching
and surgeries),
that would be due
to their ignorance
of how much more fun
blondes have here.

Scum! You really are SCUM!
Blondes!????? What about some black bodies????? How about you have some diversity in you unrhyming poetry. How could you just through this work out here, terrorizing black and brown bodies?
