Conservation of Momentum
Let's workshop this poem about human gullibility, human hubris, human tendency toward self-serving belief, human need to matter.
Conservation of Momentum
To hold up a stark mirror
to humans (although
we will likely just attack it
like bears do
biologist mirrors),
humblers should free
high-altitude balloons
to zigzag in wind gusts
and then reveal how
their red-pin paths
parallel all the gullible
reports of alien saucers.
